Decking & Furniture Stain
Enhance and protect your exterior decking and feature timber
Cabot's Decking & Furniture Stain is an oil rich, durable, penetrating wood stain. For use on all types of timber decking, patios, verandahs and outdoor furniture, it brings out the natural beauty of the wood grain, drying to a semi-transparent finish. Decking & Furniture Stain can be used to enhance the natural colour of your timber by selecting a complimentary shade and applying one coat to allow the natural timber tone to show through. Alternately, you can change the colour of your timber by choosing a contrasting shade and applying two coats for higher opacity. With high UV protection and water resistant qualities, Decking & Furniture Stain is ideal for reviving old, faded timber in need of extra care.

Maintenance
Inspect coating annually and recoat when water repellency is lost. Recoating is an expected part of the maintenance of stained weatherboards, decks, and furniture. The frequency is dependent on the UV and weather exposure, foot traffic, timber type, number of coats, depth of colour applied, and product chosen. Clears and oils will typically need annual maintenance. Stains may require maintenance after two summers.
